Homeschoolers are fascinated

Many people come to stay on our farm to learn. They want their children to know where food comes from. You would not believe how many people come because their child wants to milk a cow. They come stay in the guest house for several days because their 8 year old from the city somehow has this fascination with cows and wants to milk one. It's actually pretty neat. At chore time the kids help feed the cows, carry hay, water and grain for the animals. They brush the cows, help gather the eggs, feed the bunnies, etc.
Buying local is the most popular thing to do these days in Vermont and to know your neighbor and know what products he produces is key.
