From the flower bed

Think this is called Sweet William.
Bob is mowing the first hay of the season this morning!!! Please cross your fingers that it dries! The weather, NOAA, seems to change every time we check it. This morning it has no rain posted for today and tomorrow so we're going for it.

Kids back in school, mom raking hay...

The girls started school yesterday. The boys went today.
Bob is off building something. I'm left home to tend the hay. I just got done going round and round tedding the hay. Tedding fluffs the hay up and spreads it out to dry. We got a heavy dew last night that needs to be dried out along with some of the green hay that isn't quite dry. So now it's all spread out in the sun. Soon I'll go back out and rake it into rows with the tractor and rake. After it's put into rows it will continue to dry. Later this afternoon it will be baled. Then when the kids get home they will be overly excited to unload the hay wagons and stack it all in the barn. Well, not exactly excited......
