The "Christmas" tree

We have our tree up. It's actually a cedar tree my girls and I hunted for on our own land. It's pretty neat. I just didn't feel like paying for a tree again this year. We got it put up and then I went in the cold rain 2 days ago and got some rose hips to tangle into it. The vine is about 6 feet long and has wicked thorns on it and branches here and there that kept getting caught in my hair and on my clothes and then when I brought it in you would've thought I was wrestling a tiger if you heard me or saw me afterwards. I tangled it into the tree branches in hopes it would look like it grew there. I think it looks pretty neat. The kids and husband all said it did w/out me even asking them. First year we've had white lights too. It has no decorations and I'm tempted not to put any on it. It's just so cool.
